I started my flying adventure in 2007 with paragliding – but very quickly became bored with the limited flying options the sport offered.
In 2010, I chose to do my weight shift license & bought a North Wing Microlight from the USA. Lee & I spent 2 years flying this little microlight to places a lot of people would not have dreamed of going.
Soon though – we outgrew the microlight & I completed my NPL license & moved onto ZU-ETD – a bright yellow Savannah, which we loved.
Move on another two years & I earned my PPL license, which is when my love affair with Sling Aircraft – a Proudly South African brand built by passionate aviators, really began.
So why Taking You Places? Apart from it being the mantra of Sling Aircraft – we have lived this over the last few years!
In the past we have joined many flyaways either with the Sling Aircraft family OR we have been part of the organising of trips that other pilots joined us on. So why not do it properly right? It is our plan to continue to seek out more new & exciting places – then offer these trips to the adventure-seeking pilots just like you!
Past trips have taken us to CAPE TOWN, BOTSWANA, NAMIBIA, ZAMBIA, ZIMBABWE, MOZAMBIQUE & even MADAGASCAR (my own personal highlight). Future trips will see us visit some of these places again, as well as TANZANIA & ZANZIBAR & our biggest trip yet – CAPE TO CAIRO!
